Hey guys, just made the forum account after somebody emailed me to ask about this :)

AgentRev was right! In the infiSTAR config file if you have this setting not to false:

/*  Map Icon Check       */ _MIC = false;   /* true or false */   /* Needs to be  false  on some WasteLand versions */

it will remove "Draw" Eventhandler, so it need to be put to false (as it says in the comment :P )

we still have the problem.. we will switch off infistar for testing to see if the problem is still there...


Update:
Without infistar => all is working well without infistar :S (_mic was always false)

Situation:

InfiStar
/*  Map Icon Check       */ _MIC = false;

A3Wasteland Difficulties
mapContent=1

Players see their own markers on map
Players do NOT see the ATM Markers
Indy Players see mines placed by other (not same group) Indy players, the moment of placement


InfiStar
/*  Map Icon Check       */ _MIC = false;

A3Wasteland Difficulties
mapContent=0

Players do NOT see their own markers on map
Players do NOT see the ATM Markers
No mines are marked on map - detected or not


InfiStar
OFF

A3Wasteland Difficulties
mapContent=0

Players  see their own markers on map
Players  see the ATM Markers
Mines are NOT shown on map

GriffinZS sent me his config; Revert Map EH - _RMEH: remove 'Draw',

please keep mapContent=0, you don't need it enabled

Unfortunately I don't run Infi on wasteland I'm afraid.

Chris is actually a nice chap I'm sure he'll respond if you have a legit copy etc.

i changed mine to the following and it worked

It's spottet with mouse over. Only as long as u stay with cursor on that point. Is this known?
