Tanoa & Apex

« posted: Jun 07, 2016, 08:30 AM »
EDIT: I am currently working on the mission file, see here
---
So, Tanoa is coming to the dev branch; it was supposed to be available yesterday, but BIS messed up the upload or something, so it should arrive sometime this week. The terrain size is around 100 kmĀ², so I guess the overall square map will be roughly 75% the size of Chernarus. In the meanwhile, I stitched this together from the preview picture shown in the Editor map list:

The map grid was just posted on the BIS forums, map size is pretty much identical to Chernarus. Here's what it looks like compared to Altis :

Also I think they fixed the release, this just started a minute ago:

This looks great! but I can see it needing a lot of optimization to reach pass 50 players, this map is really cool though

Hmmmm having had a couple of hours to have a good look around, i have to say i feel a little deflated. The map is really nicely done, but once you get past the wow factor i am struggling to see how this is going to work with wasteland?

For a start 50 slots is not going to be anywhere near enough..

This is what players have been waiting for with wasteland, a map in between Stratis and Altis.  Major fights everywhere

as you can see, lotsa boatspawns... almost 120

the markers outside map are leftovers from Altis merge

Thumbs up, Agent!!  8)

I tried, too. But when entering the map, neither town- nor shop-markers will be shown.
