Tanoa Wasteland - 50+ Missions | Roaming AI | Skyscraper Lifts


We would like to present our  Tanoa Wasteland Server.

Some impressions:



Yes. Only 2 factions. BLUFOR as Gendarmerie and INDENDENT as Bandits. The NVG can be found in inventory.

Our mission AI and the roaming AI (using AI Spawn Script and VcomAI and VcomAIDrinving Scripts) represent paramilitary faction.
Technical:
  • mission AI = Civilians
  • Roaming AI = OPFOR

BUT .. both are wearing paramilitary uniforms etc by APEX.



And we also implemented other APEX stuff to the shops.
No Hunters, Striders or Ifrits to buy ..
Indy can only buy Bandit or Paramilitary Uniforms, Blufor only Gendarmerie Uniforms ..
We added the brandnew AA and AT Launchers, too ..



We also changed some icons, set the vehicle spawn to APEX, edited some Missions, so APEX vehicles appear ..

 .. it's not the best way we did, but they work. Also implemented vactions and lots of crap to Objects in GenStore.

Wanted to do much more. For example to dress the sunnyboys from Drugs N' Surf Mission with Surfer Uniforms. Created a new RandomsoldierA, changed it in mission sqf from randomsoldierC to randomsoldierA and .. didn't work. Cause we used the Randomsoldier as base for RandomsoldierA. Didn't take randomSoldierC as base, cause this one only has one uniform to choose.  :-\

Anyway. Finally .. it's amazing, watching two Caesars flying around or listen to the near coming Y-32 Xi'an and just standing there, thinking .. "How the bloody hell could be a big, fat bumblebee fly THAT fast!?"


Btw: if someone is seriously interested to be part of kinda revolution with missions on Wasteland, he (or she) could send me a pm. Please, no wannabe scripters - with me it's enough already.

Hello folks!

With this update, we would like to present our new missions. Some are edited of existing ones, some are brandnew.

First of all, a big Thank to soulkobk. He not just helped behind the curtain with one of the new missions, we also implemented his 5 new outposts. Outstanding, dude! Here's one of it:

The "problem" is not to take them down, but to find the loot, when the second crashed. And it fits perfectly to Tanoa. Same as next one ..


Who says, missions should always get harder to finish? Harder with placing more and more powerful vehicles in it? We not. This one isn't hard to complete, nevertheless there's loot to earn. And for this .. u need diving gear.


There are 2 different statues and 3 totems to gain. U cannot sell them. But u can carry and load them into vehicles, place/lock them at your base and think: "Holy shit! This ancient crap costs millions in General Store..!"


To be honest: our masterpiece.  ;D

For the first time, u have different choices to complete the mission.

kill all AI and get money and drugs. But no Ghillie Suit
kill most of AI and try to sneak to the hostage, open the ammo crate and get one Ghillie Suit (Ghillie Suits are not buyable at our GenStore! It's the ONLY way to get one. In crate, there is one for BLUFOR & one for Indy.)
after u get the Ghillie Suit outa crate, u have again 2 choices:
kill the hostage without  risk to get killed by the remaining AI
kill the remaining AI (free hostage) and get money and drugs

After complete the mission, this crate with Ghillies inside will disappear.

small update

We have reduced the money massively - at missions, the amount of dead AI, the prices of drugs.Heavy Money for example only drops 20k now, selling one of the 6 drugs brings only 2oo - instead of 8-10k.

We also implemented more stuff for base building (2 different types of trench and their frame, stone bunker walls, 3 Tanoa Houses etc). And we increased the time to unlock objects for not-owners to .. something kinda insanity  ;D

And the mission "Sneak for Ghillie" works great!

A summery of every mission (money, main, side, special and extra) and lil about the content. Atm, it's not really up to date, cause we implemented and edited several missions.

And something more pleasant: we added a new categorie for our missions:


There in:

Roadblock: as known
Air Blockade: enemies spawn with at random airport, covered by a hangar
Industry Annexation: similar to Airblockade but different stuff around
Island Conqueror: randomly invaders spawn on one of the small islands around the big ones
Petrol Blockade: like Truck Mission, but randomly at the gas stations and orange fuel truck

Today we implemented "Access Points" by zooloo75 aka. Gavin N. Alvesteffer. Actually only at one of the skyscrapers to try it out. Maybe others will follow.

And we changed every icon for the R3F section ..
