Apex release builds

« posted: Jul 11, 2016, 04:15 AM »
In anticipation for the Apex release on Monday, I merged all the Apex-related changes from the Tanoa repo back into Altis and Stratis. The only noteworthy change is the store config with new content. The following branches are what you'll need to deploy once Apex goes live:

https://github.com/A3Wasteland/ArmA3_Wasteland.Altis/tree/dev
https://github.com/A3Wasteland/ArmA3_Wasteland.Stratis/tree/megamerge
https://github.com/A3Wasteland/ArmA3_Wasteland.Tanoa/tree/dev

You will need to update extDB's a3wasteland.ini and the A3W MySQL database:
https://github.com/A3Wasteland/Release_Files/tree/master/extDB

Tanoa vehicle spawning has also been updated with the new vehicles and weapons. The new content is not yet featured in Tanoa missions, but that will come later.

will altis stratis tanoa show in one server browser?

well yeah, they already do... all Apex content is inside the base game, except Tanoa files. If you try to join Tanoa without Apex, I think it shows a DLC-only notice or something.

I'm getting my firsts interactions with Git and Github. Is a good way to work with a megamerge fork?

Git is the only good way to work with A3W. If you're just starting, don't worry about the scary "megamerge" name, it was simply a fix to make it easier for me to update the Stratis version.

You need the new extDB and the SQL changes from the release files, btw. Just for those not aware.

Is the parking addon in and fully functioning now? Looking at your code changes now.

I assume all we need to do here to implement this is add in a few laptops at traders, or do you plan to root them to certain desks for certain traders, etc?

Same question for the bounty system.

Any plans to add in the CHVD addon for the players to scroll wheel and change settings, etc?
