These were the changes that we did for exempt vehicles and another script for GL.

As far as the event handler.. my head hurts... can't figure it out.

Im going to necro this thread in the hopes that someone can help me. I have a very similar script running on my arma 2 server. But when the player is in the radius of the smoke, a message appears warning them that they're being killed by toxic gas. And then when they die, it displays a sytem chat message to the server that they were killed by toxic gas. Can someone help me implement this? Thanks

Im trying to do something similar with the messages being displayed.

Edit - For clarification this script is from Arma 2 Im only trying to add similar text in your script.

You can use cutText the same way if you want. I've never used cutText though... I think the only difference is, that is shows up on the map also?

The title text was for the player so they don't think a hacker is on or something (sometimes they can't put 2 and 2 together) and the system chat is a global message to show everyone that so and so was killed by so and so. Is the system chat implemented in a similar way?

There is always a way, but I think it would go a little far too in depth for what the script does... and that's a lot of clutter in chat for my liking.

But if you wanted to say "Player X was kill by Nerve Gas" I think a good place to start would be in fn_playerDied.sqf

Wounder if anyone have any problems with this addon couse ours stoped working w/o any errors, simple become regular yellow smoke again. Can have something to do with: http://forums.a3wasteland.com/index.php?topic=3333.0
