i have been editing the mission a bit with eden editor and noticed the file size doesnt change it stays at 258 kb

allthough in the editor all the changes are still there but when i save it and add the mission.sqm back and pack it again i still have the same mission without any changes i have made to the map

its weird ive been pulling what hair i have left out

anyone any ideas what it could be

im not sure what it is but its very frustrating

might be saving to a different location to the one you're editing ?

There's quite a few more commits than just adding the action to the playerActions. Search a working mission for beacondetector and add all commits

admittedly I haven't coded anything in months ^_^;; sorry chaps :( don't have the time for this atm ;(

seems like alot to read heh so i'll give you the tl;dr version ..

Don'y copy my code over - create the triggers using the code snippets and params in the 3D editor. I haven't done alot of editing with EDEN , in fact I haven't edited anything in the last few months so not sure about the compatibility between using the old 2D editor code and EDEN. ( I wouldn't recommend just copying it over )

After you have created the triggers with teh code snippets in the right places I don't see any reason this shouldn't work or cause your server to crash. Position system error is because your player doesn't have a map when you try and open it, and most likely not related in any way.

As AgentRev adviced, servers should run with custom difficulties. We're using Tophe's Arma Dedicated Server Tool. Quite nice tool, but ..

.. there are only the usual difficulties.

Does anyone know TADST and could give me a hint, how to implement custom difficulties?

There's 2 things with TADST

You can tick the boxes for the difficulty options allowing you to customize the server difficulty... HOWEVER ...

I don't believe TADST has updated to include all the new difficulty settings so it probably won't work ^^

rf3.1...? Sorry, I'm not with you.

Base in a box requires a few additional edits and the use of R3F Logistics 3.1 or later. It won't work with the vanilla version of R3F.

Also if you don't know what R3F is , there's very little chance you will be able to debug the commits needed to get it working ;(

Where did you find it and to which mission are are you trying to add it ?

adding this to the bottom will allow your AI to drop cash when killed ...

removing the check condition for AI / Player will allow anything that moves killed to drop cash.
