Spammers

Some of you may have received a bunch of reply notification emails. I changed the registration settings yesterday because someone had trouble registering, but it let through like a dozen spambots. The problem should be fixed now, hopefully.

I've tried numerous other methods but kept being flooded with spammers.

I recently installed Google reCaptcha because there has been an increase in spambots over the last couple months. All seemed well, but turns out it broke registration. Yesterday I reverted back to the original SMF captcha we had before, but for whatever reason a bunch of bots managed to bypass it with ease. I re-switched to reCaptcha and managed to fix the bug. Also I blocked mail.ru addresses.
