yeah, I noticed this, too - and deleted the Addons (not the keys ofc), thought there could be a server side part, but as it still works - there is none.

Then the game started so i wasn't able to check back :P thanks jumping onto this guys :)

1) Make sure you're not still loading another pbo. check your server cfg :)
2) also in your main_config change the prefix for inidb A3W_ to NEW_ or something else to make sure it isn't reading old (possibly corrupted) data

I somehow didn't notice the attachment to your post earlier, trying this now.

Okay, I bought a vehicle, drove around for a minute, bought a new one and instantly restarted the server - the first one got saved, so i guess I restarted the server before the second one got saved, which means, now it works. thanks ;D ;D

Yes, there are files in the db folder ("A3W_Objects.ini", "A3W_*playerid*.ini" (multiple times ofc), "A3W_Vehicles.ini" and "A3W_AdminLog.ini")

I got no save vehicle option when scrolling, I added a screenshot to this post

If I open the vehicles.ini, there are 2 vehicles saved in there - the two i bought.

But they do not spawn on server restart somehow.

your logfile still has inidb errors, have you tried emptying your /db/ folder too?

I cleared my db folder now, also I removed the Addons in the root folder (not the keys tho, guess the addons itself were not even needed, as they seem to be clientside only (Admin Menu and Enhanced Movement Addon)

I bought 2 vehicles, restarted the server and they were gone, i really got no idea what is going wrong here.

okay, i just restarted the server and - vehicle and base saving still doesn't work...

I had 2 Mission vehicles (APCs) which disappeared, and also the bought one - which was standing there for about 60minutes - simply disappeared

force-save is an option in your action menu (mousewheel) when you are looking at a purchased vehicle

Okay, nice to hear, hope the stuff gets saved, will check this later and post again then.

I got no force-save option in the action wheel, ran around the vehicle while scrolling through the action menu, only stuff like towing is there...

the problem is somehow your server saves to profile instead of inidb

what is your latest RPT?

uhm, I don't know how to force save, also I can't restart the server at the moment, as there are people playing on it..

I added the latest 2 rpts to this post

I just bought a new vehicle and placed it somewhere, so i can check if it gets saved if unmoved for quite some time.

Just tested it with the vanilla mission file, bought a vehicle at a shop, got in the vehicle and out again, waited for a minute, restarted the server - and the vehicle was gone.

it should be in

%Arma3ServerFolder%\A3Wasteland_settings\main_config.sqf

its inside of the A3Wasteland_settings folder - i added my main_config to this post, maybe there is something invalid in the file. (had to add .txt at the end, to upload it here)

I did not edit much in the PBO, yet, except for enabling the debug log entries.

I did edit the main_config.sqf in "A3Wasteland_settings"


Edit:

I noticed the
"3:33:14 "[INFO] ### A3W NOT running with extDB!"
 3:33:14 "[INFO] ### Saving method = profileNamespace""
in the log, but my main_config does say
"A3W_savingMethod = "iniDB";      // Method used for saving data ("profile", "iniDB", "extDB")"

Hello,

I updated to A3Wasteland Stratis 1.1, but now the Base and Vehicle Saving does not seem to work properly. (it worked before)

I updated from 1.0b, I tried to fresh install all Wasteland-specific files, I also tried setting the saving Method to profile, iniDB and extDB - atm. i set it to iniDB.

Player saving worked fine, no matter what i chose, but neither Vehicles, nor Base parts are getting saved.

I am running BEC, not sure if this matters.

As I ran out if Ideas, I hope someone here can help me with this.

- Saving Bases, Vehicles, Stats, Player Positions,...
- 100 Vehicles
- Select the Flight engine you prefer
- up to 40 Players
- 24h Realtime (Scheduled restart once a day, 6am German Time)
- Revive Time: 120 Seconds
- Bot Difficulty: Very Hard (really, those bots are a challenge - but not unbeatable.)

Server Mods:
- Arma: Enhanced Movement

All Missions Active, max. 6 at a time.

Starting Money: 550$

Server Location: Germany

Hey, I am hosting a dedicated Server running A3Wasteland and I love it.

But there is one question I got: Whenever my Server restarts, the Mission is not showing up in the Server Browser. Is there any way to auto-start the Mission even without any Players connecting? (I don't want to connect every time the server restarted, just to start the Mission properly) - to clarify: the Mission is selected, it just does not start up before anybody connects to the Server. Is there any way to change this?

I hope you can help me with that.
