I do want to have a ranking system (not the BIS type) but like the one In KOTH on my server and i bet many people want it on theirs

and that is the closet I can find on the internet.
I do want to see the A3Wasteland community to grow and become just as big as exile.
If someone can work around this script or find a way to do it would be amazing.

So I've been searching all over the internet to do this, but only got half the info.

1)
A) i would like to create a civilian in Eden (also i'm using Eden Enhanced Mod) and place him on the map (easy, i know how).
B) i would like to set his Object Init to make him rogue on everyone, even his own faction. <-this i have no clue how. the closes i got to this is by reading this wiki command.

but I don't know how to script it to the Object Init or make a sqf out of this. i did try many method, but all failed. the best i can do is to go to the General settings in Eden and set the Independent Allegiance to attack sign on both, and spawn as a bluefor or redfor therefor the civilian will attack me, but if I'm in the independent faction, the civilian won't shoot at me.

Don't know why they made civilians as the same faction as independent, but best guess was because of the story mode.
 
C) that brings me to on how i can make civilians as their own faction?

2) this is an idea that i hope someone here knows how to do this.
A) instead of all 3 faction fighting each other, i would like to have it by insignia.
so if i have 2 groups of bluefor and set their insignia to two different ones, then both groups will attack each other.
B)  couldn't really find much on the wiki about insignia except (https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Unit_Insignia), but that doesn't help clarify if what i request can be done or not.

3)
A) I would like to spawn 2 groups from the same factions in Eden
B) make those two groups fight and "player" can join in who is also in the same factions as both group.
C) make this possible in vanilla wasteland.

4) I'm still a month in having my first working wasteland server, which is also my first arma server, so i'm still kinda new to the scripting, but i took the effort in watching weeks worth of scripting on youtube and reading a lot, but all these youtube videos only show the basics and don't go too advance. the reading i find on forums, are ether to complex, outdated, or i don't understand half of what they are saying.

Hi,

I've been trying to start a Wasteland.Tanoa server for the past few days and I can't seem to get my SQL datebase to work. I can enter my TADST server and everything, but the sql won't work. I am still kinda new to all of this so please be reply in detail.

This is what I did:
I downloaded:
A)
   1) SteamCMD  ( i know how to run it)
   2) MySQL workbench
   3) Latest tanoa mission  (https://github.com/A3Wasteland/ArmA3_Wasteland.Tanoa)
   4) Latest release files https://github.com/A3Wasteland/Release_Files

B)
1) added ArmA3_Wasteland.Tanoa-Dev to mpmission file (removed -dev)

2) added (https://github.com/A3Wasteland/Release_Files/tree/master/A3Wasteland_settings) to the arma 3 server dictionary

3)added https://github.com/A3Wasteland/Release_Files/tree/master/extDB to the arma 3  server dictionary

3.1) deleted oldSQL , db_v2.04_to_v2.05.sq

3.2) added tbbmalloc.dll , extDB2.so, extDB2.dll and moved it to the extDB folder (i got this files from the A3W_extDB_pack.zip) i also replaced extdb-conf.ini from that zip



3.3) and replaced a3wasteland.ini, main_config.sqf from the A3W_extDB_pack.zip

C) My Edits or Settings

6) When i start the TADST i can get it running fine. Getting into the server is OKAY. I changed the value of the money to spawn with also works, but when i look on my MySQL workbench Table is empty

Please help me in detail. i would really like to get this running. I wish their was a Youtube video tut on how to get this all started, but i had to look on the internet for 2 days just to get to this part.
