Editing & Coding / Disable repair menu option?

Where is the code I need to disable to turn off the ability to repair the vehicle from the scroll menu? ACE3 has dayz style repair functionality that I want to use instead.

I've looked in hud and player actions and vehicle actions but haven't found it.

Editing & Coding / Gun Store only shows a couple weapons

My gun store only shows 1 pistol, 1 rifle and a couple other weapons of each category. I have checked my storeconfig but it seems fine. Did I miss something? nothing shows in the RPT concerning storeconfig.

The General store works fine.

I kinda wish there was a way to limit the weapons you gained access to unless you had a certain rank on the server.
kinda like KOTH except in Wasteland.  If the stores could be limited in the weapons you have access to unless you gain a certain rank.......
and rank could come from kills and selling gear?

Is there a script for that somewhere?

Technical Support / No loot spawning in buildings - Tanoa

I enabled the Loot spawning in Buildings in the settings for the server but no loot spawns in buildings.
I also dont get any error or indication that it was working to begin with.

Addons & Mods / Modified ACE3 - no Medical/Fatigue

If anyone wants it, I have created a modified ACE3 mod which removed the ACE3 Medical and Advanced Fatigue as well as Spectator. It gives you the cool features to play with without forcing you to change the core of Wasteland for the Medical.

That is a taste of what is happening all over the server. It drops frames like crazy.

I have Bounding Boxed all the vehicles in the mission. And this still happens. Below you will find the Bounding Box script. I will also link the Server RPT file. Please help me figure out the cause and solution.

Im trying to find the group variables for a script.

i am trying to integrate ACRE2 more by making it so that when a player joins a group, their spoken language (in ACRE2) is set to the group leader's. And when they leave the group, it reverts back.

Therefore I need to know what the variables are or where to find them.

What kind of code is used in Arma 3 GUI design and editing? Is it C, C++, C#, etc? I have a petition on Arma 3 forums for someone to make a standalone WYSIWYG GUI editor for Arma 3 and someone stated that I should provide the framework information for them to make it easier.  Therefor, I need to know the specifics of what is needed and how to make the GUI.

I guess the specifics would be:

  • Language used
  • Syntax
  • restrictions
  • limitations
  • etc
not really sure all that is needed as I have never had to create one of these things before.

Technical Support / Bounding boxes for CUP?

Does anyone have the bounding boxes for the CUP vehicles? I added the base classes but it seems like hundreds of vehicles keep spawning ontop of each other and blowing up. It happens in random towns.
The cleanup script doesnt even seem to remove them. I dont know what is going on.

I figure if I specify every single vehicle in the CUP pack, maybe it will fix it? But then again there is still the problem of the cleanup script not removing the blown up ones before spawning new ones.

I started noticing multiple car pileups. Im guessing there is an extra comma somewhere as my RPT file does not seem to imply there is an error aside from the usual spamming of OFP Skeleton crap from CUP.

I took a look at the oSaveSetup.sqf file and sure enough it calls a genObjectsArray and I checked each of the other files in the Persistence folder for the genObjectsArray reference but was unable to locate it.
Where can I find that particular array since I apparently need to define it.

How do I remove the "~" key Wasteland menu option without removing the ability to use the Admin menu?

Im using ACE3 and moved the Wasteland menu to the ACE3 Self-Interaction menu. So far the only thing I have been able to do to remove that ~ option is to comment out the following lines:

But that also disables the Admin menu AFAIK.

Also, how do I change the Cash system to the R3F Credits system for their Creation Factory? Can I just change the variable name or will that break the mission?

The R3F variable I believe is:

I want to make it so that the money you get from missions etc can be used in the R3F creation factory to act like a store replacement etc.


The last thing I want to do is replace the Loot spawn system with something along the lines of the Breaking Point system where random container objects like suitcases spawn and have a random selection of loot that is based on a loot table that is also based on Rarity etc.

I have not found a script that does that yet.
