Put these 2 new commands in the beserver.cfg

Code: [Select]
RConIP serversip
RConPort 2301

You can use any ports not in use. I just used 2301. Oh update your BEC config (if you use BEC) and you rcon application to use the RConPort and make sure the BEC config is set to your external ip.

RCON, is no longer the game port, they are all set to be game port + 5, so a server with port 2302 would be 2307 and so on.

Disregard the above and follow Gigatek advice.

I'm still confused on how to update and change this.

I had to take the following steps.

Put these 2 new commands in the beserver.cfg

Code: [Select]
RConIP serversip
RConPort 2305

You can use any ports not in use. I just used 2305. Oh update your BEC config (if you use BEC) and you rcon application to use the RConPort and make sure the BEC config is set to your server ip.

My server port is 2302 so I only went up 3 ports.

There has got to be something I am missing. Is there a line that I need to change in BEC? At this point Ive added the lines that you suggested to the beserver.cfg and changed the port number for BEC but it still fails.

if you are not using a dedicated server were you do the can change it you might have to chat with your host

when the latest patch came out i could not connect with dart on 2302 i tried 2301 and it worked

my host changed it to 2306 to get a plugin working and i had to use dart on the same port 2306

its worth while asking your host about it

Heres what we did. dont use server ip

Code: [Select]
MaxPing 250
RConPassword "your_rcon_pw"
RConIP 127.0.0.1
RConPort 2312

Then just change ONLY port in RCON to 2312..... leave the server ip

OK, this RCon is really getting on my nerves.

"BEServer.cfg" is lying on the server under "battleye" folder.

Code: [Select]
RConIP "Server IP"
RConPort 2301
RConPassword "Password"

But I still keep getting this error in DART:  "[2016-07-02 | 11:54:02] Failed to connect. Please make sure that you properly set a password in beserver.cfg and the server is running."

The only reason I can think for it not working, is it is a "Hosted" server. When connecting via FTP it looks like this: eg. 134879_2302@74.185.76.25, so I'm thinking the IP by itself won't reach my "hosted" server. Questions is, how do I enter the above example into Dart without it crashing on me?
